Zero housekeeping until the day before checkout!!! Daily trips to the office for essentials like towels and toilet paper were annoying. The parking situation is awkward, especially at night, and the surrounding area feels unsafe!!!

I stayed here for a short trip to visit the Audubon Louisiana Nature Center. The room was clean and had a nice setup with a fridge, microwave, and a sitting area, which made it convenient for snacking after a day of exploring. The hot water took a little while to warm up but got hot eventually. The price was definitely a highlight of my stay, making it a good value for what I needed.

Clean rooms but lacking attention

We had a delightful time exploring the local area, especially enjoying a fun steamboat tour that gave us insights about the city’s rich history. The hotel room was spacious enough for our family, which made our stay comfortable, especially with a newborn baby.

In my wife’s opinion, the hotel could definitely improve on the cleanliness of the bathroom.

However, the experience was marred by a lack of hot water throughout the stay, and the presence of bugs in the shower was concerning. Personal safety felt compromised, likely due to nearby shady activities, and getting assistance from the front desk was frustrating, as they were unhelpful regarding room issues.

The king room was pretty decent overall. The bed was relaxing, and I loved that it had a jacuzzi. It was clean, but honestly, I did spot a couple of bugs. The shower had hot water that worked fine, and everything felt basic but functional. The staff was pretty straightforward at check-in, no frills or anything, but they were quick to help fix a TV issue we had. Just remember, you might get more comfort elsewhere for a little extra cash.

Wifi needed a password, but enjoyed the free parking and 24-hour reception.

great access to parks and trails for weekend explorations

during my stay, I loved having the Audubon Louisiana Nature Center just under 4 km away, perfect for nature walks after a day of sightseeing. Being only about 5 km from the stunning Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge, ideal for peaceful strolls through natural beauty. these beautiful spots definitely enhanced my city walking experience.

Clean room, reasonable price, and convenient location made our stay enjoyable, especially considering the complimentary wi-fi access and proximity to major highways for easy city exploration.

Clean room. enjoyed the coffee and overall facilities. The location was great for exploring nearby parks and the vibrant French Quarter.
